Dr. Megan Humphreys is a licensed psychologist in Skokie who works with adults from college age through later life. Many clients are capable people quietly coping with trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, perfectionism or low self-esteem, and Dr. Humphreys also helps with executive functioning and ADHD, building healthy habits, questions about drinking, life transitions, OCD and the perinatal period. Identity exploration and building a life that fits one's values are a particular interest. Sessions are collaborative and trauma-informed with attention to culture, built on ACT, DBT and other behavioral therapies, mixing insight and humor with accountability and practical action. Psychological testing is also offered. Sessions are available in person in Skokie and online.
