Kalani Perreira is a licensed marriage and family therapist based in Piedmont, with eight years in practice and more than two decades in the mental health field. He works with adults, couples and families, and has a special interest in couples therapy and in people coping with transitions, disconnection, isolation and grief. Much of his work centers on healing attachment wounds and trauma, including complex, historical and intergenerational trauma. He also helps with anxiety, depression, substance use, eating disorders and LGBTQ+ concerns. Using a relational, psychodynamic approach with Brainspotting and family systems work, he helps clients connect past and present to build self-awareness. He sees clients online.
